The Cultural Circle of Philately, Numismatics, and Militaria in Salò has inaugurated its new exhibition space in the Coen warehouse of Palazzo Fantoni. The ceremony, attended by Deputy Mayor Alberto Comini, included the dedication of the venue to Giuseppe Ferrari, a founding member who recently passed away. During the event, unique pieces and memorabilia from the private collections of approximately 50 club members were showcased, with an open day scheduled for the following day to allow the public to admire the exhibitions.
Founded in 2001 by enthusiasts such as Cesare Bordini, Giuseppe Ferrari, and Mario Bossoni, the club is currently presided over by Marco Facchetti, with Sandro Apollonio serving as vice president. The group is distinguished by its organization of exhibitions, philatelic cancellations, and conferences, thus becoming an important reference point for lovers of militaria collecting in the region.
