A road accident occurred in Limone sul Garda on August 9, 2024, involving a 55-year-old Belgian tourist who had rented a motorcycle to explore the area. While descending from the Tremosine Provincial road towards the lake, the man lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a private garden. Fortunately, despite the injuries sustained, he is not in life-threatening condition; his 15-year-old daughter who was traveling with him was unharmed.
The mayor of Limone, Franceschino Risatti, emphasized the importance of driving carefully, highlighting that numerous accidents involving tourists on rented motorcycles occur every season. Just in the past week, two incidents were reported, one of which involved a mother and her daughter falling while walking along the lakeside, but fortunately without serious consequences.
