On Halloween night, Lake Garda experienced an increase in vandalism and assaults that alarmed law enforcement. In Riva del Garda, firefighters responded in the historic center to extinguish three arson fires set in Piazza Costituzione, which damaged urban furniture and a nearby construction site. The interventions took place between 7 PM and 9 PM, and thanks to the swift actions, no significant damage was reported.
In another incident in Gavardo, between midnight and 2:30 AM, the Carabinieri were called to address two assaults involving a 38-year-old man and an 18-year-old boy. Both were transported to the hospital with minor injuries. These events highlight the risks associated with nighttime celebrations, while also showcasing the readiness of law enforcement to handle emergency situations.
