Torri del Benaco has recently announced an increase in the hours of free parking for residents, a measure aimed at improving services offered to the community. The municipality has extended the benefit from one to two hours during the summer period and from three to four hours in the winter, thereby facilitating parking in the paid municipal lots. This new initiative was communicated by Mayor Stefano Nicotra via social media, highlighting how it could encourage residents to spend more time in the town center, especially during the low tourist season.
The winter schedule for free parking will be in effect from November 13 to February 28, while the summer schedule will run from March 1 to November 12. To take advantage of this benefit, residents can request an AGS card at the municipal registry office and activate it at the AGS counter located beneath the cinema. Additionally, the card also allows residents to collect water from the dispensers installed by the Gardesana Servizi company in the neighborhoods of Albisano and Pai.
