Padenghe: Initiatives in the Library for Young Children The “Alda Merini” civic library in Padenghe has launched a series of new initiatives for children, including exhibitions and workshops, aimed at engaging young readers. Notably, on January 13, the “Sauromostra,” dedicated to dinosaurs, was inaugurated for primary school students. This exhibition, created by the North-East Brescia Library System in collaboration with the children’s and young adults’ documentation center “La Vetrina,” has already captured the attention of the “Margherita Hack” classes, who participated in animated readings and hands-on activities during their visit.
Additionally, on February 4 and 11, 2025, the library will host a training course titled “NpL – Nati per Leggere” (Born to Read), aimed at librarians from the North-East Brescia System. Led by Mariangela Agostini, an expert in promoting reading among young children, the course is part of a national program developed since 1999 to encourage reading in families from birth, fostering the overall development of children.
