The expansion of the “Trebeschi” Secondary School in Desenzano del Garda has been completed, now featuring three new multimedia classrooms. This project, carried out with a total investment of €930,000, was designed to meet growing educational needs and enhance the school facilities.
Dedicated Learning Spaces
The new facilities are designated for Music, Computer Science, and Art laboratories, accompanied by modern and accessible restrooms. The expansion covers a total area of approximately 336 square meters and is designed to harmoniously integrate with the existing architecture of the school, providing a stimulating environment for students.
Sustainable Design
Particular attention was given to environmental sustainability during the project’s execution. The artificial hill located to the south of the building has been largely preserved, maintaining its natural ecosystem. Six field elms and other tree species have been replanted around the new building. The construction utilizes traditional materials such as concrete and brick, combined with thermal insulation coatings to optimize energy efficiency.
Future Initiatives
Giovanni Maiolo, the Councillor for Public Works in Desenzano del Garda, expressed satisfaction with the completion of the works: “This project enriches our community and represents a concrete investment in the future of our youth.” He also emphasized the importance of continuing to improve school facilities so that students can have educational experiences in suitable and safe environments.
With this initiative, the Trebeschi school not only enhances its educational offerings but also stands as an example of architectural innovation and environmental respect in the Lake Garda area.
