Olympic champion Marcell Jacobs has announced a new collaboration between his Jacobs Academy and the Desenzano Soccer School, aimed at promoting sports among young athletes. The initiative, which will start from the next season, will offer children born in 2017, 2018, and 2019 the opportunity to practice not only soccer but also athletics and swimming. The project aims to promote the physical and psychological development of young athletes through a varied and comprehensive training program.
The announcement was made through a short video on the social media channels of Desenzano Soccer, with Jacobs inviting the kids to enroll in the Soccer School to experience different sports disciplines. The Serie D team from Garda will collaborate with the Jacobs Academy to offer a diversified training program: out of eight monthly sessions, four will be dedicated to soccer, two to athletics, and two to swimming at the Castiglione swimming pool. This initiative represents a significant step in promoting youth sports in the province of Brescia.
