On July 21, 2024, at 9:15 PM, the Limonaia Prà dela Fama in Tignale, located in Porto, will host a significant musical event. This will be the eleventh edition of the Suoni e Sapori del Garda Festival, featuring the Wally Allifranchini Trio as the main attraction. This concert presents an unmissable opportunity for jazz enthusiasts and lovers of American melodies.
The Wally Allifranchini Trio
The trio will consist of three talented musicians: Claudio “Wally” Allifranchini on saxophone and flute, Walter Calafiore on piano, and Pietro Pizzi on drums. Together, they will present “American Song Book,” an enchanting musical journey that will explore the most beautiful melodies from both North and South America, reinterpreted in a jazz style.
Claudio “Wally” Allifranchini is regarded as one of the most influential saxophonists in the Italian music scene. His career includes collaborations with internationally renowned artists such as Ray Charles, Randy Crawford, and Franco Battiato. With his experience and creativity, he has conceived this project that promises to transport the audience on a sonic journey through different eras and cultures.

Admission to the event is free until seats are filled, making this musical evening accessible to all. The Suoni e Sapori del Garda Festival features a series of free performances included in a unique program, under the artistic direction of Maestro Serafino Tedesico, supported by his cultural association Infonote.
The municipalities involved in the 2024 edition of the festival include: Calvagese della Riviera, Castelnuovo del Garda, Desenzano del Garda, Gardone Riviera, Gargnano, Lonato del Garda, Malcesine, Manerba del Garda, Nago Torbole, Riva del Garda, Salò, San Felice del Benaco, Tignale, and Toscolano Maderno. The Garda Community oversees the coordination at both institutional and administrative levels.
