The Lake Garda will be the focus of an important initiative in anticipation of the Expo 2025, thanks to a conference organized by the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Japan. The event, titled “Lake Garda Towards Expo Osaka 2025,” will take place on Friday, November 15, 2024, from 9 AM to 12 PM, at the Council Chamber of the Chamber of Commerce in Brescia. Among the speakers will be notable figures such as Mario Vattani, the General Commissioner for Italy at Expo 2025, and Senator Mariastella Gelmini, President of the Garda Community. The seminar aims to explore opportunities for Italian businesses in the context of the Expo, which will be held from April 13 to October 13, 2025, in Osaka.
During the conference, services will be presented for those wishing to participate in the Expo and meet potential Japanese partners. The theme of the Expo is “Designing the Future Society for Our Lives,” and the program will feature discussions on sustainability, innovation, and culture. In particular, Gelmini will highlight the potential of Lake Garda as a symbol of Italian beauty and tradition, thereby creating synergies between the region and the Japanese market.
