The Salò station is responsible for the surveillance of Lake Garda, one of Italy’s most important basins. With its 370 km², the lake requires constant vigilance to ensure navigation safety and prevent accidents or hazardous situations. The Coast Guard’s continuous presence on the lake ensures accurate and timely control of the waters.
The national 2024 calendar of the Italian Coast Guard aims to represent the daily work of its 11,000 members and the various missions of the Coast Guard.
