A new landslide occurred in Gargnano on the morning of Sunday, October 20, around 11 a.m. The phenomenon affected the slope of Mount Comer, where several rock fragments fell into the valley near the Pis area, generating a cloud of dust. This event is part of an already critical situation for the area, which experienced landslides on September 9, rendering Provincial Road 9 towards Valvestino impassable.
Fortunately, there are no reports of injuries to people or damage to homes. Several residents heard the roar of the landslide, and some passersby filmed the incident on Via San Giacomo. In the coming hours, inspections by technicians are expected to assess the situation and any potential safety issues in the area.
