With the arrival of the summer season, the LEGOLAND® Water Park at Gardaland reaffirms its status as one of the favorite destinations for families seeking fun and relaxation. After a summer kickoff marked by bad weather, the water park—Europe’s first of its kind dedicated to the LEGO® world—has reopened its doors, promising a unique experience until September 15.
A World of Fun and Creativity
Nestled in the stunning backdrop of Gardaland, the LEGOLAND® Water Park offers around 15,000 square meters of attractions that combine play and learning. Visitors can explore thrilling water slides and interactive areas designed to spark the imagination of young ones. This year, guests are welcomed by the new LEGO® Shark mascot, an iconic minifigure perfect for memorable photos in front of the impressive entrance portal made with over 400 giant LEGO® bricks.
The Park’s Main Attractions
The LEGOLAND® Water Park features six main areas offering diverse experiences. At the center lies the LEGO® River Adventure, a watercourse that runs alongside Miniland—a section dedicated to recreating Italian monuments made from LEGO® bricks. Here, visitors can navigate customizable rafts while passing through underwater caves.
Among the other attractions, the Beach Party stands out, featuring a main pool equipped with seven slides and a giant bucket capable of pouring 1,500 liters of water on bathers. The Jungle Adventures area is designed for the whole family, offering slides suitable for various preferences: from open slides to those in the dark.
Creativity also has its space in the LEGO® Creation Island, where children can build boats with LEGO® bricks, decorate sandcastles, or create artworks using large soft blocks. For the little ones, there’s DUPLO® Splash, perfect for introducing them to their first slides and learning about aquatic animals alongside their parents. Lastly, Pirate Bay features a large pool ideal for swimming or simply relaxing.
Miniland: A Journey Through Iconic Italy
One of the park’s most captivating attractions is undoubtedly Miniland, a unique area that replicates some of Italy’s most representative monuments on a 1:20 scale using nearly five million LEGO® bricks. This section is divided into six thematic zones that provide a detailed look at Italy’s wonders.
Recent additions include the area dedicated to Modern Milan, featuring famous buildings like the Torre Velasca and the Pirelli Tower, as well as contemporary structures such as the Vertical Forest and the City Life towers. Replicas of Italy’s historical architectures are also present, from Venice to Rome, including Pisa.
All these reconstructions are the result of the meticulous work of specialized LEGO® teams, who bring extraordinary works to life through thorough research of Italian reality.
