An important celebration took place over the weekend in Limone, dedicated to the new seventy-year-olds of the 1954 class. About thirty honorees gathered in the Campaldo area, above Limone, to celebrate this significant milestone alongside their peers from Tremosine. This celebration represents a tradition of the Alto Garda region that has been renewed for over fifty years, thanks to the efforts of Walter Gasparini, a former local police officer with a long professional history in the municipalities of the area.
Gasparini is the cornerstone of the organization of the convivial dinner that began in the 1980s, continuing to attract participants every year. The ritual of cutting the gigantic cake perfectly fits into the Christmas festivities, making the gathering of friends even more special and warm during the days leading up to Christmas Eve.
