The culinary excellences of the agri-food sector from Lombardy will be in the spotlight on Wednesday, November 20, in Dubai, during the ninth edition of the Italian Cuisine Week in the World. The event, taking place at the Palazzo Versace as part of the ‘Italian Night’ organized under the patronage of the Italian Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates and the Italian Consulate General, will see the participation of industry operators and food & wine experts. The Regional Councillor for Agriculture, Food Sovereignty, and Forests, Alessandro Beduschi, emphasized the significance of this meeting for promoting Lombard products in international markets.
During the evening, attendees will have the opportunity to taste a selection of typical Lombard products under the guidance of experts from Gambero Rosso. Additionally, Chef Roberto Valbuzzi will present a traditional Lombard dish in a dedicated show-cooking session. With 20 Protected Designations of Origin (DOP) and 14 Protected Geographical Indications (IGP), Lombardy confirms its status as one of the leading regions for quality agri-food in Europe, significantly contributing to Italy’s culinary reputation worldwide.
