The Lombardy Region has allocated €4.7 million for seven infrastructure projects aimed at enhancing the lakes and surrounding areas in the province of Brescia. The decision, approved by the Regional Council upon the proposal of councilors Claudia Maria Terzi and Franco Lucente, includes the construction and redevelopment of piers, structures for public and recreational navigation, improved accessibility to the lakes, creation of lakeside promenades and cycling and pedestrian paths, consolidation of shores and docks, as well as hydraulic and hydrogeological works.
Among the main interventions are the enhancement of cycling and pedestrian routes in Darfo Boario, with a total cost of €400,000, the construction of a boat ramp in Iseo, with an investment of €100,000, and the consolidation of shores in Anfo, costing €200,000. The most expensive intervention is planned in Desenzano del Garda: the expansion of the lakeside promenade from the Feltrinelli pier to Vicolo delle Lavandaie, with a total cost of €2.5 million. The construction sites will start in 2025, with completion expected by 2026.
