Two new regional calls have been launched in Lombardy to support renewable energy communities, with a total investment of €47.7 million. Councillor Massimo Sertori announced the opening of the “Phase 2 of the Expression of Interest” and the “ReLoad CER Call,” aimed at financing projects that involve the establishment of energy production facilities from renewable sources and storage systems on public properties. Phase 2 has a financial allocation of €20 million, while the ReLoad call is reserved for municipalities with over 5,000 inhabitants and has a budget of €27.75 million.
Applications to participate in both calls can be submitted online from January 9 to May 15, 2025. The non-repayable grant can cover up to 40% of the investment costs, varying based on the capacity of the facilities. Sertori emphasized that these initiatives are crucial for promoting energy autonomy and fostering the development of energy communities in the Lombard region.
