A significant event took place at the Triennale di Milano, where the docu-film “Lombardia Style. Beauty Without Borders” was presented. The gathering, attended by approximately 250 international journalists, was held as part of the press tour for the upcoming 2026 Winter Olympics. During the evening, the Regional Tourism Assessor, Barbara Mazzali, described the film as a visual journey through the 12 provinces of Lombardy, highlighting the natural and cultural wonders of the region. Among the distinguished guests were the President of Lombardy, Attilio Fontana, and the Minister of Tourism, Daniela Santanchè.
The docu-film, directed by Paolo Zambaldi, invites viewers to discover the beauties of Lombardy, from the vibrant city of Milan to the serene shores of its lakes and the mountains of Valtellina. Mazzali emphasized the importance of events like this in promoting the region as a premier tourist destination in anticipation of the 2026 Olympics, with projections of over 500,000 international visitors and an estimated economic impact of 3 billion euros. The evening also celebrated local gastronomy, offering participants a selection of typical Lombard dishes, including the famous panettone, thus reinforcing Lombardy’s image as a tourist destination rich in authentic and unforgettable experiences.
