A significant meeting recently took place in Lonato del Garda, where the Brotherhood of the Snail celebrated its fifteenth anniversary. This event, held on Wednesday, March 26, at Trattoria La Rassica, saw the participation of long-standing members and new supporters, all united to share ideas and future projects.
Goals and Initiatives
The Brotherhood was established with the intent of promoting the snail as a traditional culinary dish, aiming to engage younger generations with this local delicacy. Among the initiatives discussed during the meeting, the idea of organizing playful activities that encourage slowing down the hectic pace of daily life stood out. This approach aims not only to enhance the dish but also to foster moments of conviviality and relaxation.
An innovative aspect proposed is the establishment of an award dedicated to the last participant in sporting events. According to the members of the Brotherhood, “the true aim is not to win but to participate while having fun,” thus emphasizing the importance of the collective experience.
Upcoming Gastronomic Events
To celebrate the milestone of 15 years and the 115th anniversary of Trattoria La Rassica, a public event will be organized on June 5. This occasion will not only represent a celebration for the Brotherhood but also an opportunity to further promote the local gastronomic culture through events that engage the entire community.
