Lonato del Garda has announced the **extension of the experimental traffic measures** in place on Antiche Mura and Girelli streets, prolonging the monitoring period until May 31, 2025. This initiative aims to assess the effectiveness of the **one-way system** implemented to improve traffic flow in the area.
## Details of the Traffic Measures
The new traffic configuration includes several significant changes:
– **Via Antiche Mura**: The section between via Gerardi and via Girelli will be subject to a one-way traffic direction towards via Girelli.
– **Via Girelli**: In the stretch from via Antiche Mura to via Noce, the one-way traffic will be directed towards via Noce.
– **Intersection with Via Noce (south)**: Vehicles coming from via Antiche Mura must stop (STOP) and yield, with the obligation to turn right towards via Noce.
– **Intersection with Via Noce (north)**: A left turn towards via Noce will be permitted.
– **Intersection with Via Albertano da Brescia**: Vehicles arriving from via Pozzolo will be able to proceed straight towards via Girelli or turn right onto via Albertano da Brescia.
– **P.zzale Albertano da Brescia**: At the intersection with Antiche Mura and Gerardi streets, drivers will be able to continue straight towards via Gerardi or turn right towards via Girelli-Via Noce.
The extension will allow local authorities to gather more detailed data on the impact of the new traffic regulations.
