Salò: Ongoing Maintenance Work in the Historic Center. Active roadworks and maintenance of public spaces in the historic center of Salò are continuing in preparation for the upcoming tourist season. The Municipality has announced that in recent weeks, three major projects have been completed or are nearing completion: the restoration of the “Fossa” with the replacement of damaged marble and the protection of the wood on the benches, the redevelopment of Via Gasparo through the refurbishment of deteriorated porphyry sections, and the cleaning and painting of the Ebranati Garden Fountain.
Additionally, maintenance work is also expected to continue on Via del Roveto and in Campoverde. According to the municipal administration, these interventions are crucial for maintaining the decorum of the historic center, preventing accidents and damage to vehicles, and ensuring the durability of the pavements, thereby avoiding costly future restorations. However, it has been noted that some vehicles have ignored the delimitations set up to protect the areas affected by the works, causing delays in the completion timelines of the interventions.
