The Malcesine Baldo Trail, scheduled for May 3 and 4, is set to engage nature running enthusiasts with an event that promises to be inclusive and full of new features. Now in its fourth edition, the event has already recorded over 800 registrations, marking a 30% increase compared to the same period last year. With a course that winds through the breathtaking landscapes of the mountains between Veneto and Trentino Alto Adige, the event will see the participation of around 200 foreign athletes, further confirming its international appeal.
This year, the race introduces two significant innovations: a competitive segment, with the 16k being valid for the Fidal regional short trail championship, and a social aspect, thanks to collaboration with the “Casa dei Sogni” association to manage the refreshment stations during the race. The winners’ prizes will be crafted by the young people from Agepha, promoting inclusion within the community. The three proposed distances – 52 km, 26 km, and 16 km – will offer participants a unique experience in the heart of the local nature, with points awarded for the UTMB index.
