The mechanical nativity scene in Manerba, inaugurated on December 8th, has already attracted nearly 20,000 visitors in just twenty days, establishing itself as one of the most anticipated Christmas events in the province. The display, created by the volunteers of the Friends of San Bernardo, is an extraordinary work that welcomes families and tourists from various Italian provinces, with waits exceeding an hour to admire the 750 moving figurines. The nativity scene is open to the public daily from 2 PM to 6 PM, with special hours during the Epiphany holiday.
While waiting, guests can enjoy a festive atmosphere thanks to the music from the Giacomo Avanzi band and a refreshment point offering hot tea and mulled wine. The setup covers an area of 320 square meters and includes fascinating details such as Santa Claus’s toy factory and scenes ranging from the nativity to local legends. With over 30,000 visitors expected by the end of the month, the mechanical nativity scene in Manerba continues to enchant both young and old during the heart of the holiday season.
