A control operation conducted by the agents of the Valtenesi Local Police led to the arrest of a 41-year-old Albanian drug dealer in Moniga, accused of drug trafficking in the surrounding area, particularly in Manerba. Law enforcement noticed suspicious behavior, with clients waiting for the man outside his home in cars to receive the purchased substances directly through the window. These incidents occurred near Piazza San Martino.
Last Monday, the investigations culminated in a check of the suspect and a client who had just completed a sale. During the search of the arrested individual’s residence, officers discovered 12 pre-packaged doses of cocaine, approximately 600 euros in cash believed to be proceeds from illegal activities, and materials for packaging the drugs. The operation thus resulted in a charge of possession and trafficking of narcotic substances.
