The Libramente Literary Review in Montichiari is gearing up to kick off a culturally rich 2025, with eight events scheduled from January to March. Organized by the Department of Culture in collaboration with the Mirtillo Bookstore and Montichiari Museums, the event aims to showcase well-known authors and works that address contemporary themes, covering a range of genres including novels, short stories, poetry, and essays. The Cultural Councillor, Martina Varone, has expressed the intention to broaden the variety of genres featured in order to attract an increasingly diverse audience.
The first event will take place on Friday, January 10, at 8:30 PM in the Sala della Riserva of the Lechi Museum, where Giampaolo Matrone will present his book “The Last Survivor of Rigopiano.” The series will continue with other authors such as Paola Barbato and Italo Bonera, all characterized by narratives that promise to provoke deep reflections on social and personal themes. Admission is free, reaffirming the review’s commitment to making culture accessible to everyone.
