In recent hours, the mayor of Montichiari, Marco Togni, has reported a new case of abandoned waste on Via Sacca, along the SP 236. Through his social media channels, he shared images of the illegal dump and called on citizens to help identify those responsible: “We would like to give them a lovely Christmas gift,” he commented ironically. The Local Police have already intervened at the site to assess the situation and recover the discarded materials.
In his appeal, the mayor encourages anyone with useful information to contact him privately, emphasizing the importance of collective responsibility in the fight against littering. While the waste has been properly disposed of, authorities are investigating the identity of the perpetrator of this uncivil act, highlighting the need to intensify awareness campaigns to protect the environment and punish those who engage in such behaviors.
