Montichiari Launches the “Cuffia” Operation for Solidarity with the Homeless in anticipation of the Christmas season, an initiative promoted by the inter-parish Caritas of Montichiari, Novagli, and Vighizzolo. Until Epiphany, citizens are invited to donate wool hats to support the homeless in Brescia and Rome, as well as those living in war-torn areas such as Gaza and Kiev. So far, approximately 200 hats have already been collected.
Donations can be made at a basket located at the altar of Saint Anthony the Abbot in the Cathedral of Montichiari, until tomorrow, Monday, January 6. The initiative aims to provide a tangible gesture of warmth and support to those facing the harsh winter temperatures.
