On the evening of Thursday, December 5, 2024, the **Mountain Rescue** team intervened to rescue four **hikers** stranded on the ridges of Mount Pizzocolo, in the municipality of **Toscolano Maderno**, at an altitude of approximately 900 meters. The operations center activated the Valle Sabbia Station after the group lost their way and found themselves in difficulty between the ridges and the Sanico wall.
A team of five technicians was dispatched to the location, where they initially secured the first two hikers before proceeding to reach the others, who were trapped in a particularly rugged area. The operation concluded successfully around 11:00 PM, when all the hikers were safely escorted down without sustaining any injuries.
