Sadness in Ca’ Lojera in Sirmione: Ambra, the lady of Lugana, has passed away. Ambra Tiraboschi, co-founder along with her husband Franco of the renowned Ca’ Lojera winery, known for producing high-quality wines in the Lugana region, has died. Her journey in the wine world began in 1989 with the planting of the first vineyards on land purchased in the 1970s, culminating in the first harvest in 1992 and the construction of the winery. Under her guidance, the company reached a production of over 140,000 bottles, including the famous “Riserva del Lupo,” establishing a special bond with consumers thanks to Ambra’s passion for her territory.
The funeral will take place on December 4th at 10:30 AM at the Church of San Benedetto in Lugana. The family has announced that the business will continue its activities, upholding the commitment and dedication that characterized Ambra’s work, thus ensuring the continuity of the winemaking tradition she cherished so much.
