Multiart, the innovative app designed for the visually impaired, is set to embark on an informational tour around the Lake Garda, where it was originally conceived. Just over a year since its launch, the app has already attracted thousands of users from around the globe and is preparing to introduce new features enhanced by artificial intelligence. Created by the Brescia-based artistic collective The DouglaS MortimerS, Multiart allows users to transform images into music, making artworks accessible to those with visual impairments. The tour will kick off at Agriturismo 30 in Moniga del Garda, featuring live performances and artistic interactions.
The project is supported by over 50 artists and includes a partnership with Hostinnova to further enhance the app’s capabilities. Among the new features will be voice recordings of poems and the opportunity for users to interact with one another through a digital community. The first stop of the tour has already seen engaging performances, with the next date scheduled for March 21 in Desenzano, continuing to promote art as a shared and inclusive experience.
