In Manerba, a mural created by the children of the Don Angelo Merici kindergarten was inaugurated at the local social center. The artwork, measuring 12 meters in length and 2 meters in height, represents the union between generations, with the tagline “With the wisdom of grandparents, we will soar far” emphasizing its significance. The project involved around seventy students, their teachers, and the painter Mario Raco, highlighting the collaboration among various local entities.
During the ribbon-cutting ceremony, children, parents, teachers, and members of the municipality were present, including the mayor and councilors. The councilor for Education, Laura Mattia, commented that the mural symbolizes the meeting of two generations for the love of the community. This artistic project also marks a revival of the social center, which has seen renewed vigor thanks to the voluntary commitment of its members.
