With the aim of improving road safety, the Municipality of Nago-Torbole has announced significant changes that will affect both the eastern Gardesana road and the historic center. These measures include the installation of a new speed camera and the possible reduction of the speed limit in the central streets.
In the coming weeks, a new speed camera will be operational along the eastern Gardesana road, specifically in the Tempesta area. This device will monitor compliance with the speed limit set at 70 kilometers per hour. However, there will be no speed camera near the Conca d’Oro port as the Autonomous Province of Trento has not given a positive opinion for this installation.
This decision has sparked controversy within the City Council, with representatives of the minority openly criticizing the initiative through a specific inquiry.
At the same time, the Municipality is considering the possibility of lowering the speed limit to 30 kilometers per hour in the streets of the historic center. This measure is part of the interventions aimed at ensuring greater safety for citizens and improving the quality of life in the heart of the city.
