Further benefits for residents of Riva del Garda in terms of parking. The municipal council has decided to redefine the benefits offered to residents in order to facilitate the search for parking spaces. In collaboration with Apm, the company that manages the parking lots, new benefits have been introduced based on the requests and reports received.
The main changes concern the blue surface parking lots: all residents will pay 50 cents per hour and will be able to take advantage of a two-hour bonus, meaning they will pay 50 cents and can leave their car for three hours. In addition, they will have the option to use the underground Terme Romane and ex Agraria parking lots at a cost of 50 cents per hour, 24 hours a day, all year round.
Residents who have a subscription for the blue surface parking lots will be able to park for free at the Terme Romane and ex Agraria from 7 pm to 8 am, seven days a week, all year round.
As for the extended historic center, parking in Via Canella (37 parking spaces) and Via Monte Oro (18 parking spaces) will be reserved for subscribers. This measure has been taken in anticipation of the construction of the Garda Cycle Path, which will result in the removal of some parking spaces.
The increase in rates for non-residents has been postponed until 2025. Councilor Grazioli explains that, although possibilities of increases for the summer period have been considered, it has been decided to wait due to the upcoming availability of new parking lots, such as the former tennis court and the Liberty Park. It is likely that the increases for non-residents will be introduced next year.
