The Pro Loco “Città di Salò” has a new board of directors that will lead the organization for the next two years. During the shareholders’ meeting held on March 22nd, the board of directors was renewed and Nicola Tranquilli was confirmed as President, a position he has held for nine years.
The other members of the board of directors are Giacomina D’Erchie as Vice President, Andrea Bazzani and Cesare Filippini as entrepreneurs, Cesare Franchini, Massimiliano Giacomini as Treasurer, Mauro Maccarini as Secretary, and Andrea Mattia Maggioni as coordinator of Confesercenti for Lake Garda and President of the Salò Promotion merchants association.
During the meeting, great satisfaction was expressed for the results achieved in previous years thanks to the organization of numerous events in the town of Salò.
The association is experiencing a period of growth with 13 new members joining in the first months of 2024, confirming the interest in the development of promotional activities and events organized by the Pro Loco Città di Salò.
The program for 2024 includes a rich and varied calendar with an economic budget of almost 300 thousand euros. Among the planned events are the 65th edition of the Garda Music Summer “Gasparo da Salò”, the Botanical Exhibition, the passage of the 1000-mile race, the musical evenings “Salò in musica”, the Busker Festival of street artists, and the characteristic fireworks shows of the Salò summer.
The Tourism Councilor of the Municipality of Salò, Nirvana Grisi, also participated in the meeting, emphasizing the importance of Pro Loco in promoting the territory and organizing events.
