Starting from **September 13**, residents of Castiglione delle Stiviere will have the opportunity to access detailed information about **air quality** through an innovative digital application. This tool has been designed to make it easier and more immediate for users to consult environmental data related to the municipality.
## Access to Environmental Data
The new digital platform collects and processes information from official sources, including the **ARPA** (Regional Agency for Environmental Protection) and the **Copernicus** program of the European Union. Users will be able to view data on key air pollutants, such as particulate matter (PM2.5 and PM10), nitrogen dioxide (NO2), sulfur dioxide (SO2), and ozone (O3). Additionally, information on the concentrations of significant pollen types and a meteorological overview dating back 70 years will be available.
## Features of the Platform
The platform will be accessible directly from the municipality’s official website. Users will be able to consult real-time information or explore historical data by selecting specific time intervals. This feature will allow citizens to monitor changes in air quality over time, with particular attention to daily, monthly, and annual concentrations of pollutants.
## Benefits for the Community
The introduction of this application represents a significant step towards greater environmental awareness among citizens. By identifying the most problematic pollutants in the area, it will be possible to adopt more effective preventive measures. This system not only enhances the transparency of environmental information but also strengthens the community’s ability to address challenges related to air quality.
