Traffic on the Garda road continues to be affected by problems. The recent rains have once again highlighted the hydrogeological fragility of the area, with a new landslide that has led to the closure of the Eastern Garda road in the Tempesta area in the municipality of Nago-Torbole.
The landslide occurred around 11 pm on Monday, April 22, when a rock of about 1.5 cubic meters fell onto the road. Fortunately, there were no consequences for public safety.
According to initial surveys, the road will remain closed for the entire day today, Tuesday, April 23. Further updates will be provided as soon as they are available.
