A family in Soiano experienced a night of terror when burglars broke into their home while everyone was asleep. The incident occurred on August 22, 2024, on Via XXV Aprile, directly across from the Town Hall. The owners, a husband, a wife, and their two young daughters, only realized the intrusion upon waking up to find the patio door forced open. The thieves made off with only an empty wallet and a handbag, but the event left the family traumatized.

The family has decided to install an alarm system to better protect themselves in the future, emphasizing that even locks and security bars seem insufficient to deter burglars.
