The Bando alle Ciance has returned, offering the youth of Garda Veronese the opportunity to receive funding for their projects. This initiative, promoted by the Committee of Mayors of District 4 – West Verona and supported by the ULSS 9 Scaligera Health Authority, aims to enhance youth creativity within the local social and cultural context. Applications can be submitted until Monday, February 24, 2025, with an earlier deadline of February 14 for proposals from high schools and vocational training centers.
In 2024, the call for proposals funded 44 projects involving over 264 young people aged 16 to 30. This year, social coordinator Dr. Paolo Giavoni announced the introduction of a new line dedicated to the environment and a specific action for schools, encouraging student engagement. Additionally, with the support of the Veneto Region and the Cariverona Foundation, the Zig Zag initiative will be launched to raise awareness about reducing textile waste. Interested youth can download the necessary documents from the official website to actively participate in this innovative project.
