The Alto Garda region will host the “Frantoi aperti” event on the weekend of November 2nd and 3rd, organized by Apt Garda Dolomiti as part of the “Month of Taste.” This initiative offers visitors the opportunity to discover the production process of extra virgin olive oil, featuring guided tours and tastings at seven local mills. Among the scheduled activities are tours and masterclasses at various venues, including the Acetaia del Balsamico Trentino and Agraria Riva del Garda.
A new feature of this edition will be the inauguration of the “Olive Path,” a trail dedicated to the history of olive cultivation in the region. On Saturday, November 2nd, at 2 PM, participants will have the chance to join a guided walk that includes a tasting of new oil. The president of Apt, Silvio Rigatti, emphasized the importance of the event in promoting local products and the olive-growing tradition of Trentino Garda.
