In preparation for the European elections on June 8-9, 2024, the Electoral Office will adopt special opening hours to facilitate the submission of candidate lists. In compliance with Article 20, paragraph four, of Presidential Decree No. 361/1957, the Office will ensure the immediate issuance of certificates of registration in the electoral lists within 24 hours of the request.
Extraordinary Opening Hours
To meet these needs, the Electoral Office will be operational without interruption on the following days and times:
– Saturday, April 27, and Sunday, April 28, 2024: open in the morning from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm.
– Monday, April 29, 2024: extended availability in the afternoon from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
– Tuesday, April 30, and Wednesday, May 1: the office will remain open continuously from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm.
This extended schedule ensures that all necessary procedures for the submission of candidacies can be completed effectively and promptly, while complying with the deadlines imposed for pre-election operations.
