The Municipality of Castiglione delle Stiviere has announced that the Public Notice for the assignment of the recognition of “Historical Shop, Premises, and Artisanal Activity of the Municipality of Castiglione delle Stiviere” for the year 2024 has been published. This recognition is intended for shops, premises, and artisanal workshops that have been in operation for at least 30 years without significant interruptions.
The activities that can participate in this selection are shops engaged in retail trade at a fixed location, premises dedicated to catering or the provision of food and beverages, and artisanal workshops that sell goods directly to retail customers.
To be eligible to participate, the activities must have maintained ownership of the business by individuals connected by at least a family relationship throughout the entire 30-year period. In addition, the suspension of activity for a continuous period not exceeding one year should not be considered a break in continuity.
The selected activities will receive official recognition and will be included in the “Register of Historical Shops, Premises, and Artisanal Activities of the Municipality of Castiglione delle Stiviere”. They will also be presented with a metal plaque that they can display and use for advertising purposes.
