On Saturday, March 1st at 8:45 PM, the Theater of the Oratory in Padenghe sul Garda will host the show “Pretending to be Gaber – A Tribute to Mr. G,” an event dedicated to the figure of Giorgio Gaber, 22 years after his passing. Organized by the Municipality through the Department of Culture, Tourism, and Commerce, the performance celebrates Gaber’s contribution to Italian singer-songwriter music and his innovative formula of “theater-song.” During the evening, the famous album “Pretending to be Healthy” from 1973 will be revisited, featuring performances by Alessandro Adami (vocals), Luciano Bertoli (actor), Carlo Gorio (guitar), and Stefano Zeni (violin). Admission is free.
This event is part of a rich calendar of cultural events that characterize the season in this lakeside town. Attendees will have the opportunity to relive the emotions and reflections offered by Gaber through a unique blend of music and acting, thus helping to keep alive the memory of one of Italy’s greatest artists.
