The Palio dello S-ciapì in Tremosine, an event that celebrates traditional games, will take place on Sunday afternoon starting at 2 PM. This event revives a centuries-old tradition in which challengers face off in duels using hard-boiled eggs, a game brought back to life in 2010 by Matteo “Canèla” Amistani and Michele Debortoli. The defending champion, Angiolino Rossi from Hotel Miralago, will be present to defend his title with his famous eggs.
In addition to the main tournament, participants will also have the chance to enjoy a version of the Palio dedicated to children and try their hand at the traditional game of “palanca,” where the goal is to throw a coin from three meters away to embed it in a hard-boiled egg on the ground. During the event, prizes and baskets of local gastronomic products will be awarded to the winners of the various competitions.
