The Gse has initiated the registration phase for the second call of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), dedicated to the installation of electric vehicle charging infrastructure. This initiative aims to promote the implementation of over 18,000 charging stations, both in urban areas and along extra-urban roads, by 2025.
Details of the Call
The call is open to all companies, regardless of their size, as long as they can demonstrate proven experience in the electric mobility sector. Temporary business groupings (Rti) wishing to participate in the project are also included. The available financial resources amount to a total of 639,287,750 euros, divided into two categories:
- 359,943,750 euros for charging stations to be built along extra-urban roads.
- 279,344,000 euros allocated for installations in urban centers.
Objectives of the Infrastructure
Thanks to the funds made available by the PNRR, approximately 7,500 ultra-fast charging stations are expected to be created on extra-urban roads and 10,880 charging points in urban areas. These new facilities represent a significant step towards greater adoption of sustainable mobility in the Lake Garda region and beyond.
Interested companies can find further information and submit their applications directly on the official Gse portal, where all the necessary details to participate in the call and contribute to the development of the required electric vehicle infrastructure in Italy are available.
