An alert regarding the presence of poisoned bait has affected the area of Puegnago del Garda, prompting the municipality to undertake a precautionary cleanup. Following several reports from residents, the administration activated the Local Police in collaboration with the Canine Unit of the Provincial Police of Brescia to conduct inspections in the affected areas. The intervention aims to ensure the safety of domestic animals and prevent public health risks.
In light of these concerns, the municipality issued a notice to residents, advising them to exercise particular caution during walks in parks and green spaces. It was emphasized that the use and possession of poisoned bait or traps constitutes a criminal offense, encouraging citizens to report any suspicious findings to the relevant authorities.
