Public Notice for the Implementation of Independent Living Projects, funded by the pro.vi Fund. Year 2022 and applicable to the years 2024 and 2025
The Municipality of Sirmione has published a public notice for the implementation of interventions related to independent living projects, funded by the pro.vi Fund. Year 2022 and applicable to the years 2024 and 2025.
Ministerial guidelines define the concept of independent living for people with disabilities as the opportunity to live their lives autonomously, making decisions regarding their choices with only the limitations that people without disabilities may encounter.
The objective of the notice is to promote the implementation of innovative solutions that offer people with disabilities the opportunity to live in society, with the same freedom of choice and autonomy as people without disabilities, finding possible alternatives to institutionalization.
The notice aims to actively involve people with disabilities in the design of pathways that ensure adequate support and quality of life according to their specific needs and aspirations. Personalized projects will be developed and implemented in collaboration with the interested parties.
Applications can be submitted by people with disabilities and/or their families or those legally responsible for their protection. The applications must be properly filled out and accompanied by the required attachments, and sent to the email address indicated in the notice by April 18, 2024.
