Public transportation: two strikes in the coming days
From 9:00 pm on Saturday, May 4th to 8:59 pm on Sunday, May 5th, trains along the Brenner and Valsugana railways may experience cancellations or changes due to a national strike by the personnel of FS Group, Trenitalia, Trenitalia Tper, and Trenord. The union action may also result in service modifications before and after its conclusion.
In addition, on Monday, May 6th, a strike by the Cub Trasporti and Usb unions has been called at the territorial level, involving the personnel of Trentino Trasporti Spa. The last strike of the same duration called by the Cub union had a participation rate of 13% of the personnel of Trentino Trasporti S.p.a, while the one called by the Usb union had a rate of 10.55%.
On Monday, May 6th, the traveling personnel and ticket office employees of Trentino Trasporti SpA will ensure service during the time slots from 5:30 am to 8:30 am and from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
Trips that have started within the guaranteed service time slots and have not yet been completed will be carried out in the following ways:
– urban service and Trento-Sardagna cableway: continuation to the terminus;
– extra-urban and railway service (Trento-Malè-Mezzana and Trento-Borgo-Bassano railway lines): continuation until the completion of the trip.
