Recently, Alto Garda announced an ambitious public works plan valued at approximately 390 million euros, aimed at enhancing infrastructure and services in the region. During a meeting held on January 28 in Riva del Garda, President Maurizio Fugatti outlined the main initiatives underway, including the renovation of school buildings with nearly 31 million allocated to Liceo Maffei and significant environmental investments for the remediation of the Maza landfill. Additionally, 232 million euros have been earmarked for road works, including the connection between Passo San Giovanni and Cretaccio, as well as the Torbole bypass.
Particular attention is being given to the Garda Cycle Path, which stands out as one of the most ambitious projects in the plan. Work on the first section from the Panda tunnel to the Sperone beach is currently 76% complete and is expected to finish in spring 2025. Other sections of the cycle path are progressing with project approvals and ongoing work, highlighting the commitment of the Autonomous Province of Trento to promote sustainable mobility and enhance the local landscape.
