On May 14th and 15th, the tenth edition of REbuild, the event dedicated to sustainable innovation in the construction sector, will take place in Riva del Garda. The aim of the initiative is to promote the transformation of the building industry towards more sustainable and environmentally friendly models.
During the two-day event, there will be meetings, conferences, and workshops addressing topics such as the industrialization of processes, decarbonization, ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance), and health and well-being in housing. Practical examples will also be presented to illustrate the impact of digitization and artificial intelligence on design and the real estate market.
Trentino will be the protagonist of the 2024 edition of REbuild, with the participation of companies in the sector, trade associations, and research institutes. Significant content will be presented for the national debate on the challenges of transitioning towards more sustainable cities and territories, new models for energy sharing, start-ups, and artificial intelligence.
During the press conference introducing the event, representatives of partner organizations emphasized the importance of REbuild in fostering interaction between different entities in the construction sector. The initiative will help the industry face emerging challenges in a more sustainable way.
A study conducted by the REbuild Observatory analyzed the impact of energy efficiency on the real estate market in six Italian cities. It emerged that the price gap between high-energy efficiency properties and low-energy efficiency properties is greater in medium-sized cities compared to large cities. The lack of redevelopment of properties causes a greater depreciation in property value, especially in areas with lower market values.
To participate in the event, registration is possible on the official REbuild website. Reduced rates are available for certain categories of participants, such as public administration and professionals in the industry. In addition, it will be possible to obtain training credits for engineers, architects, and surveyors.
The event will take place at the Riva del Garda Congress Center, and a transfer service will be available from Rovereto Station to facilitate the participants’ transportation.
