Registrations for the Fila Lake Garda 42 are reaching record numbers just a few months before the event, scheduled for Sunday, April 6. The LG21 half marathon has already surpassed 60% female participation, with 1,400 women registered, while the LG42 marathon has approximately 1,400 total participants. The organizers aim to achieve an ambitious target of 5,000 registrations, evenly distributed between the two distances.
The event is also attracting significant international participation, with 75% of registrants coming from over 70 countries. Among the foreign participants, Germany represents the largest group with 29%, followed by Great Britain (16%) and Italy (8%). The growing interest from Nordic runners is attributed to recent promotional initiatives that have highlighted the beauty of the course along the northern shore of the lake.
