On Sunday, March 2nd, an important fun run will take place in Polpenazze, titled the “1st Memorial Walter Milanes,” starting at 10:00 AM. Athletes can participate in walks of 3.5 and 7.5 kilometers, with gathering set for 7:30 AM at the local Sports Center. The free start will occur between 8:00 AM and 9:00 AM, while the official start is scheduled for 9:00 AM. The first 15 men and the first 5 women will receive recognition prizes at the end of the event.
In addition to the event in Polpenazze, the weekend will be filled with sports events in Brescia, including the Brescia Art Marathon and various cycling competitions such as the Granfondo Energy Marathon in Carpenedolo. Notable football matches will also take place, such as FeralpiSalò against Padova at 7:30 PM and Desenzano Calcio against Pro Sesto at 2:30 PM. These events provide an excellent opportunity for sports enthusiasts to actively participate or attend significant local happenings.
